Learn how to build robots and how to train them.
The programme we run for companies, adapted for teenagers. Weekly workshops on OpenAMRobot 2.0 in the lab where version 3.0 is being developed.
The same path professionals follow.
Operate and train
Run robot missions, map a room, recover from errors safely, teach the robot a task by demonstration and evaluate the result.
Build
Assemble and wire a robot: motors, drivers, batteries, emergency stops, sensors and the AI computer. Test it against a checklist.
Customize and engineer
ROS 2, navigation, robot arms, 3D-printed parts, firmware, simulation and training data for learned skills.
Each level ends with a practical test on the robot, not a quiz, and a Botshare Academy certificate: Certified Robot Operator (run a mission and recover from a problem), Certified Robot Trainer (teach a task by demonstration and evaluate it) and Certified Robot Builder (bring up a robot against the acceptance checklist).
Skills companies are hiring for.
Robots are moving from fixed programs to learned behaviour. People who can build a robot and also teach it are rare. Teenagers in this programme work with the same robot, tools and methods as our engineering team.
Strong participants can join our fellowship and work on real OpenAMRobot features.
One 2-hour workshop a week.
Final times are confirmed before opening. Groups are formed by age and level.
